Paroxetine is the most potent of the SSRI's. You may consider an alternative one. In terms of potency the top being the most potnet the SSRI's are as follows:
PAROXETINE
SERTRALINE
CITALOPRAM
FLUVOXAMINE
FLUOXETINE
The only SSRI I not sure is useful for social phobia is Citalopram.
