Geodon has a half-life of about 7 hours and so is usually taken twice a day. I believe that it is more likely to cause insomnia than sedation--it certainly did with me. You might try it at 9a.m. and 5p.m. Be sure to take it with food; it's 60% more bioavailable that way.
