This was my situation at my 1st pdoc.
He told me "you tell me what to prescribe, and
I will prescribe it". It was an interesting
scenario. No, I didn't ask for the hard candy.
This was when I was testing the usual anti-depressants.

Looking into the future here John, in the unlikely event you can't try the memantine or it doesn't work out...it sounds like you got a little treasure here. If HE doesn't know what else can work then you can come up with whatever the heck you want, use all the internal logic you desire, and chances are, he isn't going to refuse you because he doesn't know any better. Sounds like you might have a walking prescription writer here soon John...might come in handy at times should you devise some other interesting combo.
