Perhaps this is a metabolic change of sorts--OH, I just thought of something. I think that alcohol might have kept the blood level of buproprion (and/or its metabolites) at a lower level than it ordinarily would be (a liver enzyme thing). Perhaps stopping drinking has RAISED the bupropion levels in your blood?? You might need a dosage decrease to compensate for it (that is if that is the case). If you have lost 45 pounds and don't have much appetite that could explain the anemia on its own. Maybe you need to step your dose down to 100mg bid (I think your on 150mg BID, right?). Also, an EKG might be a good idea (get "wired-up" when you notice the elevation the most). I don't notice any heart rate elevation until later in the day. In fact during the morning-midday time it seems *slowed* at times (weird).
