Hi KB,That is the *exact* time (well, give or take 30 minutes) that I have my early-morning awakenings when I am very depressed (seasonal winter/summer).
You might try: 1) A stimulant or activating antidepressant in the mornings that will give your brain a "workout" during the day so you will sleep better (intense cardiovascular exercise midday is also helpful)
2) SAD light therapy in the morning.
3) Avoid food or alcohol within 4 hours of going to sleep.Mitch
