Hi Angel1,

The only way you can know for sure would be to discuss increasing your Effexor with your doctor.

I was on 150 mg. of Effexor for several months and was also going to work, etc., but "something" was still missing. I went up to 225 mg. and though I really did not notice any changes right away, I can say that within 2 to 3 months the improvements were immense. I feel good again. One day of feeling a little "spacey" (not a scarey or bad feeling, a little "stoned") when I increased my dose from 150 to 225 mg. and then the spaciness was gone. There is certainly no harm in speaking with your doctor about increasing your dose. After all, 150 mg. is not a big dose at all. Keep us posted! :) AnneL
