Yeah... I had a little honeymoon with Clomipramine -- more than a year, and it was a very nasty, nasty drug. Massive weightgain, sweating, urinary hesitancy, etc, etc, etc. I've been on many drugs and most of them help with ruminations to some extent as long as they have a 5HT action to them. I've never been on an MAOI, however, and was kind of wondering if that class would have a similiar effect to the drugs that exhibit reuptake inhibition. Something tells me that if I went on an MAOI, though, I'd be in a world of side-effect hurt not much different from Clomipramine.
