Anything by Husseini Manji, M.D. is excellent reading. He's also investigating the neurotrophic and neuroprotective benefits of Depakote. Unfortunately (for us), bipolar disorder is a neurodegenerative disease, and one should do whatever it takes to slow down its progression.
