Barabara, I'm pretty sure I read previously that you do take magnesium supplementation. Still, I thought you might like to read this article & show it to others who may benefit.
http://www.ahcpub.com/ahc_root_html/hot/archive/ama032002.htmlIt's interesting but I've always tended to show magnesium depletion easily, even with a good diet. When I was pregnant with my second child, my lips started burning & feeling raw. Over a period of a week, they became worse until they ended up slowly oozing (more like leaking) a clear plasma liquid. I'd awaken in the morning to find they were stuck together. Everything I could find kept pointing to a B6 deficiency, but I was taking a good source of extra B complex vitamins & it didn't help. After reading about the connection of magnesium with B vitamins, I added it & within three days my lips healed completely!
From time to time, if I get careless, forgeting to take magnesium, symptoms will start showing again. On the whole, I take the extra very faithfully. Perhaps that may account for the fact my fibromyalgia has been so much better the last few years. And here I thought it was the lessened stress since my ex- left. :-)
