I grew tolerant to Klonopin which is also an antiseizure medicine. The Klonopin was my primary medicine for treating my chronic myofacial pain (mostly tension headaches). From what I understand, Topamax has a anticonvulsant mode of action not too unlike Klonopin.

I believe Topamax is better at shooting chloride around my brain. Chloride helps stop neurons from firing.
