Provigil to be renamed Placebogil

Provigil (Modafinil/Alertec), the $5 per pill "miracle" drug many had hoped would replace Adderall/Dexedrine & Ritalin seems to be turning out to be a major dissapointment in research studies.

Maintaining alertness and performance during sleep deprivation: modafinil versus caffeine:

However, atleast among narcoleptics, the research now shows that the effects of Provigil are dose related & that the 400 mg is far superior to the recommended 200 mg dose:
