Thanks, I am often inspired by my deep depressions. That poem captures one of my saddest moments of despair. This one's for the ladies:
"Shameful perversion [of perception]"
A wild flower with an unfitful doom,
A rose amidst the weeds and gloom.
She cannot, will not see herself;
A beauty matched with inner wealth.
O' Lord! O' Allah! O' Zeus! Oh Ruth*,
that this gem may catch a glimpse of truth!*=Ruth: Mercy.
