Hi Ron,

I'll take a good look over the post and get back shortly.

One thing I'll point out about my latest "dopamania" is that probably caffeine is playing a large role. I think the medicines are just "setting me up" biologically to allow stimulants to work easily. Wellbutrin was another AD that did this for me.

I got bad poop-out on stimulants and found was doing some research recently on AMPA receptors (which topamax modulates) and how they are involved in the sensitization of dopamine receptors. I think that may be where the Topamax is doing some work (it modulates AMPA glutamate transmission). Shortly after starting topamax, my tolerance to caffeine, pseudoephedrine, etc dropped a lot. A lot of speculation I must admit however...
