Kramer: lamictal increases

Posted by speck on April 2, 2002, at 7:01:54

Common knowledge says that this med has to be increased slowly to avoid an alergic reaction. But HOW slowly? A 25 mg increase dose a week could take 3 months to get to a 300 mg dose. What are you supposed to do in meantime while you wait to see if the drug even works? Especially if this is a choice of last recourse? I already have augmented with topomax and neuronton. I am at a loss on this one.
