In reply to Kramer - Lamictal and pregnancy?, posted by Cindy Lou on April 2, 2002, at 6:55:48

Hi again,
I forgot to ask you about SAM-e -- I've been reading about it on this board.

I was wondering --

1. Is it worth a shot to try it with my current combo?

2. Is there any reason I should NOT try it?

3. Seeing as I am very med-sensitive, are there certain side effects of SAM-e?

4. Can it help with fatigue?

5. Is it safe during pregnancy?

Thanks again,
cindy

I also take a small amount of Klonapin at night (1/4 to 1/2 of a .25 mg tablet), and about 2.5 mg of Prozac every few days -- sounds crazy, I know, but I can't tolerate any more than that!

I also have long-term chronic depression (and have recently been re-diagnosed as BPII). I am doing just okay .. but keeping my head above water.
