I have successfully tried phentermine 30mg SR, with no problems at all on Effexor XR. 225mg. (Actually, I think my pdoc may up my dose, it doesn't seem to be doing as well.) (Has anyone else on Effexor XR had that problem? The drug company has put a new therapeutic dosage of 325mg, instead of the 225mg. I may try to titrate up to that.) I have also tried Dexedrine, tenuate and bontril. They have had no effects what so ever on my blood pressure. I have lost 12 lbs!
