(I only come on here about once a week or so now, using the internet too much & watching too much TV are lowering my quality of life, so I can't give you very quick responses anymore). Anyways,
Only change one thing at a time, otherwise you won't know what is doing what.Dexedrine & Adderall by themselves make many (most) people anxious. They are both clean less-neurotoxic pharmaceutical forms of street "speed", but they are still "speed" nonetheless- in other words they aren't meant for the anxiety prone. I find if I don't take Klonopin with my Dexedrine then it makes me jittery/shaky, although less so than a No-Doz does (200 mg= 2 cups coffee) but that always depends on the person & the dose.
I would just stick with the Zoloft increase to 75 mg but keep in mind that when you change a dose of an SSRI antidepressant there is a 3-4 week lag time before you will feel the effects.
Also, Your doctor is going to be wary of giving you a prescrip for Adderall or Dex since they are Schedule II controlled DEA triplicate prescrips with no refills & only a 30 day supply allowed. In other words getting a scrip for these or Ritalin is a major hassle & only worth it if you have ADD, or anhedonic/severe lethargic depression. (If you overdose on something, or combine these with too much GHB or whatever, then your doctor could be liable for giving you a schedule II med in the first place- that is probably why he wants you off xanax).
Dexedrine arguably causes less anxiety than Adderall, but doesn't last as long.
A note of caution: if you take GHB and have the inevitable 'dopamine rebound' that could be a problem with Dex or Adderall. Too much dopamine will cause anyone to have the so called "amphetamine psychosis" where you temporarily act similar to a paranoid delusional schizophrenic- not fun.
Once you get your Zoloft to the right dose and have been there a month or so you shouldn't have any problems & won't need Adderall/Dexedrine or even caffeine in the morning.
