Personally, I wouldn't trust their info as far as I could throw them. Why? Here's a quote from their site:
"SUNNEX Lo-LITE units screen out those blue wavelengths of visible light that present the greatest hazard to the eye."
Yet, they say that their lamps offer only the wavelengths of light that are effective (effective wavelengths supposed to be between between 420-530 nm), & theirs is in the range of in the range of 480-520 nm. Hmmm - blue visible light is around 450-510 nm wavelength. Pretty tricky, if you ask me, how they filter out that 'nasty' blue light while still including its wavelength in their lights.
They're also very careful to state in the research that the intensity (brightness) of the light on subjects was only for their response to the cicardian sleep/wake cycle, not to antidepressant therapy for SAD. The 'antidepressant medication' that was found to cause lesions in people using bright light therapy wasn't mentioned. Does it help if I told you that the 'medication' was St. John's wort?
