This is absolutely horrible what has happened to you and your boyfriend, and I wish I could help in some way. I have no experience with this kind of thing but maybe someone else here does. I'd get the police involved and if it doesn't disrupt your life, maybe even get a dog? I would make an appointment with a therapist to help you and your boyfriend deal with this.
