> I need some advice. Talked to pdoc, she said the diarhea (sp?) and horrible headaches are normal and that I should try to stay on the med. These headaches are worse than migraines, tylenol doesn't touch them. I need to know if this med is really worth going through a few more weeks of hell? It was added to my Lamictal/Remeron/Risperdal combo to help with ADD, to make me less hyper and to be able to concentrate. I am concerned that it won't help with my OCD/anxiety though, which is the problem I was trying to address by adding a new med. Should I bear it out or call her and see if she can start me on a smaller dose of some of the meds I have recently tried, maybe I could deal with them if I started slower? Any advice???
RBL,I agree with Leighwit that your response to the WB add is a little strange. WB for OCD? That is VERY strange. If anything WB could aggravate OCD greatly IMO. You had a good response to Zoloft, but you obviously got WAY too much Zoloft and got nauseated really bad. You might try a *little* Celexa (say 2.5mg of the liquid/day) added to your combo of Lamictal/Remeron/Risperdal. Celexa is a relatively weak SSRI and perhaps more importantly it is primarily metabolized by CYP3A4 liver enzymes, so it should be less likely (than other OCD meds) to affect the blood levels of the other meds that you are on. I think you may have tried it before and had a squawk about it-but I can't remember.
hope this helps,
Mitch
