Benadryl and Alzheimers

In her book "The Wisdom of Menopause" Christiane Northrup says that Benadryl can increase the risk of Alzheimer`s disease. Anyone seen any hard data on this claim? It seems like that book is a mixture of good info and unprovable nonsense(like fibroids supposedly being caused by blocked creativity), but having a family history of Alzheimer`s I`d like to find out if there`s any truth to this claim Cecilia
