Like most antidepressants, Wellbutrin can take several weeks to kick in. Certainly, 5 days is too soon to expect results, although some people do start to notice changes that early. I have been on Wellbutrin for five years. I have been well for the most part, and will continue to take it so long as I don't have any major depressive episodes.
