Noelle,
I'm not a doctor but maybe medication worked for you and but aren't the solution for your boyfriend.
I know that I feed off the energy from people around me constantly and it may be that your mood has only rubbed off on him but not become absorbed? Does that makes sense to you?

As for quitting pot, just like cigarettes, one becomes irratable and sleeping is a great escape......(him being tired.)I quit smoking not that long ago and remember well the moods!!!

I wouldn't go so far as to say you created a monster, your suggestions to him come out of caring for him.

I wish you and him luck.

> I'm not sure if any of you experience this but being on medication so long, I tend to diagnose the people around me. My boyfriend started to get depressed when he was around me, go figure. He was a pretty big pot smoker but decided to quite and I suggested Wellbutrin. Well he quite but now he has days where he is really irritable and tired. The doctor put him on Celexa as an adjuct, he's been on it for two days( takes it at night) and he's acting really flat, like he doesn't care about anything and he can't sleep. Is it just me or have I created a monster
