I don't feel like going over all of the vitamins and minerals. Let's just say that they're "good for you." Omega-3-fatty acids have been shown to be effective in modulating mood in people with bipolar disorders. I really think that getting an adequate amount of calcium is important for bipolars. Remeron blocks 5-HT2a/c receptors, which act through the phospholipase C/ inositol phosphate pathway, which is very much related to bipolar disorders. Wellbutrin is effective in augmenting Remeron resistant depression and in counteracting some of Remeron's possible side effects (weight gain and drowsiness). I just really hate to see anyone taking lithium after everything that we learned in the nineties.
