Apples and oranges

Posted by Squiggles on August 7, 2002, at 15:59:15

Sounds to me like the wisest choice
would be to try a lithium increase, if not
by 300, maybe by 250. It's the blood level
that is important NOT the dose in each individual.

As for conversion of Lamactal to Lithium,
since one is a GABBA drug and the other
an inositol drug - yeah apples and oranges,
unless you compare them phenomenologically.

If you feel better with in increase in Lamactal
at a certain dose, and keep the lithium at
the present one, I suppose that would be the answer.

It is a pain in the neck to have to play around
with drugs but sometimes you hit the right key.

good luck;

Squiggles
