Please read the following link. Any doctor worth their salt understands this basic concept. If they are unable or are unwilling to understand this basic medical principle, fire them and run - don't walk - to a doctor that does.
That is unless one wants to be treated by a doctor that is either ignorant or a medical idealogue...
