heck, if you're lithium responsive, i'd stick with it. lithium has a number of nice benefits for the brain after longterm therapy.

Neurontin was only good for inducing senile dementia and eventually a hypersomnic depression.

i also think fish oils help, but have not found them to have the kind of kick of real drugs. seems to me that good sleep management is another key to fighting bipolar disorder. gotta stay on top of under/over sleeping.
