Niki,

The reason none of the drugs didn't work for you is because for them to work properly, you need to be on a mood stabilizer with an ad. Take it from a fellow bipolar myself. Mood stabilizers should be your main med. If an ad is needed it should be at the lowest effective dose. Antidepressants used alone can exacerbate mood disorders. Ask you doc about lamictal or depakote. I've been on lamictal for 6 months now and I finally feel "right".
