I have found that the effexor seems to work better if I take it with food... I believe, though I have no proof except my own experience, that food helps to keep it slowly dispersing in the body for a longer time and more evenly...
It seems to do a better job for me if I take it with food, of course I take my Effexor at night too, with a small snack...
crackers or something.. maybe you can try that??
