Hi Robin,
I have been on Remeron 30 mg for the past 9 mos. I also take Clonazepam .50 BID. I had a rocky start to the Remeron, like you I immediately felt wonderful within the first week, at the end of week two though, I was right back where I started. At that time I was on 15mg, my psydoc increased it to 30 mg and once again I was well on my way to recovery, only to have another set back at 8 weeks. I decided I wasn't going to do another increase and within a few days, possibly a week, things turned around again and I have been great ever since. Side affects are minimal and most were transient. I sleep well, wake refreshed and clear headed, and haven't gained any weight, infact, I've lost over the past 9 mos while being on Rem. Not a normal side affect but I'm not complaining lol. Remeron has given me my life back, I'm once again functioning and even working again, which I hadn't done for 3 yrs. Good luck...
