Imipramine added to Desipramine

My pdoc just added imipramine to my desipramine to get some seratonin(spelling?) effects. I did not realize there are no effects on seratonin with desipramine, just norepi effects. Does anyone have any experience with this combo? My pdoc is very good at what he does, so I am hoping this will give me the added boost I am looking for. Thanks!

P>S> The added amount of Imipramine is 10mg for ten days, if no effect 20mg for ten days up to 30mg. It is a very small amount. Desipramine is 100mg.
