increased anxiety with Lexapro

Posted by Lucy on September 26, 2002, at 9:45:38

I took Lexapro for only 2 days and stopped because I felt horrible. The nausea and insomnia was bad and I felt mentally fuzzy but the main reason for stopping was the anxiety. I almost could not work and felt a fear of people almost to the point of panic. I thought that Lexapro was supposed to help with anxiety - has anyone else experienced this problem and if so does it go away? I thought of trying it again but starting out at 5 mg/day if it will eventually help. Any input would be most helpful!
