Hi Corrina,
my advice to you is that you are likely to suffer some side effects at the start of your course of medication.
Try your best to stick with it if it becomes uncomfortable because they do go away.
Dizzyness and sickness are very common, both of which I have suffered myself, but have always gone away after 2-3 weeks (maybe less for lexapro)
