I have been taking Parnate for over 20 years, with a few trys at Paxil and Celexa, but always go back to Parnate. I only take 20 mgs. a day. But, my Doctor recently prescribed Resperidone for me. I took a 1mg. Friday and one Saturday night. He wants me to take it to help calm me down and hopefully be able to sleep. I am under a lot of stress taking care of my Mom, who has dementia. But, I felt like it was "like putting the brakes on my brain". I did not like how it made me feel, plus I was not able to sleep. Is it me or is it the meds?
