try writing a statement out on a piece of paper, then walk straight into therapy and hand it to the therapist. don't think about it, just do it. i found this useful when i could not get words out of my mouth. keep the paper in your hand, don't put it in your pocket where you can "accidentally" forget about it. i seriously think you need to get this out, and not just for your future safety. many people, when they do something like you did are traumatized by what they did. talking about it helps to sort through the emotions you feel and can help you get on with your life without this haunting you. i also have trust issues with my therapist. it gets better the more i talk, even when i think it will just make things worse to share. it never makes it worse, it makes it eaiser to deal with things. i hope you share.
