You repeatedly imply that my article on bipolar disorder is simply against new ideas. It's the opposite. You are buying into mainstream gobbledygook that rarely is opposed by anyone. Considering how little is known about these topics, the lack of controversy in psychiatry is frightening. The Time magazine article on bipolar disorder brought this to new peaks of absurdity. All the more reason for my article to be read directly and thought about. Mood stabilizers are a great idea. It is a shame that so many medications are included as mood stabilizers when they are not mood stabilizers at all but rather anti-manic agents, and most likely, basically anxiolytic agents.
