Re: Lexapro and Provigil?

Provigil helped ease fatigue somewhat when I took it with Celexa, but not with anywhere near the effectiveness or smoothness that it eliminated Serzone-caused fatigue (even though Serzone tends to be one of the most sedating AD's and has alpha-blocking properties which should *theoretically* work against the Provigil).

Also, Celexa markedly lowered my heart rate and blood pressure, which could lead to added fatigue, especially if they're on the low side to begin with.

Don't know how all this would translate to Lexapro.

> Hello... I have narcolepsy and severe depression with some anxiety. I've been on Provigil for about 5 weeks now and will start Lexapro tomorrow. I'm very nervous about going back on antidepressants, as I had bad withdrawal from Effexor. I know I need something, and I look forward to feeling better, but I'm worried. I'd love to hear from others who are taking both drugs (or Provigil and Celexa) -- just to let me know it can and has been done.
