Ya, I can relate. Although when I was on Celexa, I lost 20 pounds. Although I think I lost most of it just before I went on Celexa, when I basically had a nervous breakdown. I lost the 20 pounds in about one month. I took Celexa for 8 months and kept the 20 pounds off no problems, I may have even drop another 5 pounds. When I went off Celexa, I gained back 10 pounds in about one months time. I have been jogging at least 5 to 7km 4 times a week, for about 5 months now and have not lost any weight. I have now added weight lifting, I am going to try for every other day. I have also bought CLA, and I am going to try that.
But I can relate to your frustration. Hard running just doesn't seem to do the trick for me, either. I am gradually cutting down on carbs, but not completely cutting them out. So between the weight lifting, CLA, not as many carbs, I should lose weight. But even if I don't, I have told myself, that losing the weight is not the most important thing. I have joined a running club, and met some new great people, I am entering races and have started to train for a half-marathon and enjoying it, and I feel so much stronger and better. Plus I sleep like a baby at night. So if I can't take off that extra weight, so what. I guess we have to get back to what is really important, and that is how healthy we are and not how skinny.
Take care
