After about 3 weeks on 20mg I experienced what the psychiatrist I ended up seeing recognized as a serotonin storm...imagine your worst panic attack ever and multiply it by 10000. Six months later I still have horrible daily anxiety (which I never had before) kept at bay only by Xanax. Paxil can be great for lots of folks but for many with panic disorder it can create a monster.
