Going off of 150mg Effexor in six days should be avoided unless there are serious health concerns. When you start Wellbutrin you won't know weather you're experiencing the side effects of Effexor withdrawl, or side effects from the Wellbutrin. If you do a search on this board with the words 'effexor' and 'withdrawl' you'll see why I suggest this. In general it's best to make one change at a time, and taper off any major med that you've been taking for more a few months. Hope the Welbutrin works for you, though you might want to start at low dose; it makes some people anxious when they first start taking it. Hope it works for you.
