Lexapro and agitation, what to do???

I thought it was anxiety, today I realize this med is making me agitated (can't sit still, short tempered). Last week I was on 2.5 mgs. this week I am on 5 mgs. Is it maybe too much? Side Effect that will go away? Wrong med for me? Any advice, I am climbing the walls! LOL!
