Funny thing is, Beardy, I don't know what the slang term is. All I have called them is 'the police' - at work among coworkers & among my friends. We have municipal or city police, & then we have the federal who are the RCMP. Even in my young, drug taking days, I've never had anything but good & helpful experiences with them, & seen a real sense of humour among many of them.
