Re: Luvox sedating?

Hi--I took Luvox for several months a couple years ago for horrible GAD and obsession. It helped me tremendously in the very first week.

It did not sedate me in the morning after my dose but initially (and every time the dose was raised), I would get what I called my "late afternoon Luxov lethargy." I had to lay down and take a short nap it made me so tired.

But like I said, Luvox in itself is not sedating. The late afternoon tiredness always subsided within four days to a week. It did give me wicked insomnia though. :(
Hope I've helped.
JM
