Hi--today is Friday. I took my last Cogentin this past Monday. I STILL have these symptoms: blurry vision, short term memory loss, and confusion.
My daughter asked for juice today. A couple minutes later I "remembered" to grab her a juice box and told her I'd get it. She said, "silly Mommy, here it is." I had already gotten the juice from the fridge and brought it in to her!I really pondered this one for a couple of minutes--I have no memory whatsoever of giving her that juice for her.
I am starting starting to get scared of these symptoms. It's been four days since I quit the Cogentin. Please tell me your opinion if the memory impairment, the confusion, the complete lack of concentration, and the blurry vision are temporary. It doesn't make sense that the side effects from this type of med would last so long.
Thanks for your imput, and anyone else's for that matter. This is really starting to scare me and I can feel my anxiety building. I forgot to bring a medical form and a picture with my daughter to preschool this morning. This is SO unlike me, I am the type that remembers this kind of stuff.
JM :(
