Sorry, when I made the comment about the young age of your children being treated with Trileptal I was not considering the use for seizure control. I had only considered treatment for Bipolar disorder, please correct me on this point.

Sharrla - I have read that Trileptal is excreted through the kidneys so your concern about your child's creatinin levels may certainly have merit. In any case that visit to the specialist ASAP would certainly be well advised. There are pbabblers on this board with much better knowledge on this topic than I and I hope you will hear from them. Please keep us informed on your progress.
