Not so sure it was the strattera

Posted by jodie on January 26, 2003, at 0:23:26

I stopped taking strattera due to my "allergic reaction". I haven't taken it since the day I had to go to the hospital. My rash finally went away, then last night it started to come back. I am not so sure now that it was the strattera. It was the only thing new I was taking. No new soaps, foods, etc. I have no idea. I am going to call my pcp on Monday. Right now my rash is driving me insane. No fever, or other symptoms. I am just taking my lexapro 10 mg daily, and klonopin as needed, which is hardly ever. I am now back on the benadryl. I just might be able to try strattera again. But I will have to admit, I had a really bad 12 days when I was taking it. I still think my dosage was just too high, 80 mg after only 3 days. During those 12 days, I wasn't myself. My sleeping pattern was all messed up, dry everything, and I was an emotional wreck. I didn't realize it so much then, until I stopped taking it. Anyway, just thought I would let everyone know that I don't think it was the strattera that cause my rash.
