Meg, I hope I'm not getting to personal, but did you lose someone from this horrific event?

I heard a lot of news talk about how people got all these problems like insomnia and depression and how meds like Ambien skyrocketed afterwards.

But why would this happen unless someone personally knew someone? I didn't, but I'm also 19, so I sort of belong to a generation that is sort of post-shell shocked anyway--- events can't shock me or horrify me, because there's something to not being surprised anymore or being able to "feel" for someone through the newspaper or television,.. so maybe your generation approaches things like 9/11 on an almost personal scale, even if it's not personally affecting? I hope I'm not assuming too much, perhaps you did miss a loved one?
