> JumpyI think you're doing a smart thing, getting the benefits of fish consumption. There's a lot more beneficial stuff in fish than just the omega-3's. Interestingly, fish protein is showing evidence of having health effects not associated with other sources of protein. Just like all fat is not created equal, it's starting to look like the same thing goes for protein.
I strongly recommend that you take a selenium supplement (200-400 mcg (micrograms)/day). This will keep the potential injury from mercury contamination to a minimum, or elimate it altogether.
