Thanks for your reply, and I am already on Seroquel. I was just interested in why exactly I was on it. Both of the Doctors that I am seeing suggested that it would do wonders for me since I have so much problem tolerating any other Anti-Depressants, and for the last 2 weeks I've been concentrating on adjusting my body to it. Currently I'm on 100mg of Seroquel every night. I've only boosted it up to 100mg two nights ago though, but since then I've lost all of my motivation. I'm hoping that this comes back in time, but I can also say that I have no anxiety, no depression, and with 1mg of Clonazepam every night before bed, usually taken about an hour after the Seroquel, I'm sleeping like a baby. The mornings are somewhat rough but I expect them to become easier with time.I was just wondering which part of my condition would be treated by the Seroquel... the anxiety or the depression. My Doctors have also mentioned that they would like to see me taken off of Depakote (which I'm on currently at 500mg per day) and put onto a low dose of Lamictal.
I'm just hoping that this is an effective method of long-term treatment of my condition. I'm really getting sick and tired of waiting to see with all of these different meds to see how strong I'm able to become... how much of my old self will return... just so I can forget this phase of my life and move on. It's been time to move on now for quite a while and I'm ready... I just want to make sure that my body is in agreement with me on this.
