> The problem is that I can't really tolerate the Ativan during the day. All it makes me do is want to nap. I am trying to get Benzo free if I can. I don't really like the way Ativan makes me feel and she won't give me any other benzo. The benzos tend to make me depressed in general. I was guessing it was the Ativan too. I took a bit of Ativan yesterday to calm the agitation. It didn't help. I took 1/2 mg. I don't think my body likes Ativan very much. I really have some serious health issues to debate over. The Remeron is giving me water weight and the Zoloft gives me constipation. Taking the diuretic seems to make the constipation worse. UGH! Last night I started eating the flax seed hoping it will help. And today I am drinking tons of water. I swear, I never get any of these side effects except for on the meds I like, geesh, I can't win! I really need to exercise but these meds make me so tired right now. The good news is that at the increased Remeron dosage I don't seem to need a sleep med with it like I did at the 30 mgs. I hope it stays that way. What is your opinion on losing the weight at the higher dosage? Is that true? Or is it one of those things where I would have to stop the med, lose the weight, and THEN start at a higher dose?

Klonopin doesn't bother me much depression-wise, though. As far as losing the weight at a higher dosage goes... all you can do is try it and see if it works. There is a lot of stuff that looks good on paper-but you won't know until you undergo a trial.
